John Edward Wooley

John Edward Wooley, 78, of Paducah passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Mr. Wooley was a retired photographer from Curtis & May and a retired Baptist Minister. He was also a member of Heartland Church.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Shirley Wooley of Paducah; one daughter, Karen (Gerald) Lynn; three sons, Tim Wooley, Michael (Beth) Wooley, Mark Wooley; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Tray) English, Jessica (Dustin) Spresser, Maxwell Wooley, Frankie (Nikki) Wooley, Parker Wooley, Keaton (Kayla) Wooley; eight great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Izabelle, Lane, Allie, Wesley, Annebella, Aerika, and Kruze.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Omer Dea Wooley and Ethel Elizabeth Wooley; and four sisters.

Funeral services will be at 12:00pm on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Nate Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 10:30am to service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
