Alexander Cherry

Alexander Cherry, 71, of Paducah, died Sunday, May 22nd, 2016 at his home. Alexander was a retired laborer for the City of Paducah, a veteran of the US Airforce, and a member of Faith Center Church of Paducah.
Alex is survived by his wife, Della of Paducah; two daughters, Sadie and Casside of Paducah; two granddaughters; five siblings, Rosiland R. Cherry of Gary, Ind., Brenda J. Holmes of Peoria, Az., Adrian K. Cherry of Mishawaka, Ind., Phyllis C. Anderson of Gary, Ind., and Bridget A. Cherry of Gary, Ind.; and several nieces , nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Sadie Cherry.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of life service on Saturday, June 11th, 2016 at Faith Center church located at 4465 Hansen Rd. in Paducah starting at 11am.
A private family burial will take place at a later date at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah, Ky.
