Alfred L. Kindred, 91 of Paducah died Tuesday at his residence. Mr. Kindred was a retired supervisor for Bell South, lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers and an Army Veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife Mary Lou Burt Kindred of Paducah; two sons, Michael W. Kindred of Smithland, Frank Kindred of Nashville; one brother Herbert W. Kindred of Paducah, eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Jerome Kindred Sr. and Maretta Robinson Kindred; one son, David Patrick Kindred; three brothers and four sisters.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Lindsey Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Beal officiating.
Burial will follow at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home and after 8:00 A.M. Friday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Lourdes Hospice.
