Alice Jenkins, 68, of Benton, formerly of St. Louis, Mo., passed away at 7:27 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2010, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Mrs. Jenkins was a retired postal worker for the United States Postal Service.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 32 years, Bud Jenkins; her daughter, Jeanette Thompson of Paducah; three grandchildren, Joshua Thompson, Ashley Thompson and Gary Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Thompson, Eli Thompson and Kamdyn Thompson; three sisters, Pat Becker of Sikeston, Mo., Ethel Davis of Gilbertsville, Ky., and Fran Bisulca of Daytona Beach, Fla.; one brother, John Ferguson of Dale, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvie and Lola May Turner Ferguson and three brothers, Charles Ferguson, Billy Ferguson and James Ferguson.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
