Anna Kathleen (Jones) Vander Boegh

Anna Kathleen Vander Boegh of Paducah passed away on October 6th.  She was born on March 22, 1923 in Tolu, KY to the late Charles R. and Eula K. Jones.

Throughout her life, she was a caregiver to her family and loved children- especially babies. She was a member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church.

Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah will make arrangements.  A private family service will be held in the Smithland Cemetery in Smithland, KY.

Memorial donations are suggested to Lourdes Hospice Foundation Fund (P.O. Box 7100, Paducah KY 42002), St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org/) or Hurricane Church (Hurricane Church Road, Marion, KY 42064).

Anna was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Kathleen Vander Boegh. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 70 years, Don C. Vander Boegh, Jr.; three sons- Gary Vander Boegh and wife Judy of Paducah, Dr. Brian Vander Boegh  and wife Carol of Paducah, Mark Vander Boegh and wife Diana of Lexington; two daughters, Karen Sloan and husband Terry of Paducah, Lori Vander Boegh of Brentwood, TN;  ten grandchildren- Leslie Vander Boegh Hudson of Nashville, TN, Kevin Vander Boegh and wife Candace of Paducah, Jennifer Pitt and husband Curtis of Paducah, Elizabeth Azar and fiancé Brandon Campbell of Paducah; Summer Vander Boegh Pegram and husband Joe of Oxford, MS, Katie Traines and husband Ed of Chicago, IL, Kristen Vander Boegh Carter and husband Bruce of Newport, KY, Tyler Robbins of Brentwood, TN, Taylor Sloan of Paducah, Eric Vander Boegh of Lexington; five great-grandchildren Zain, Zack, Falcon, Madison and Kameron.
