April Dawn (Chapman) Thomas

April Dawn Thomas, 38, died on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO after a long battle with Lupus.

She was a homemaker and member of Faith Center in Paducah.  April was a former dance instructor and loved teaching everyone to dance.  She enjoyed photography and was passionate about animal rescue.

April is survived by her husband of 13 years, Corey Thomas of Metropolis IL; her father Tony Chapman and his wife Lisa; her mother, Martha Veatch and husband Greg; and one brother, Brandon Chapman.

April was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hall of Metropolis and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Chapman of Paducah KY.

A celebration of life and visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Faith Center on Saturday August 24 in Paducah located at 4965 Hansen Road immediately followed by a service with Rev. Brandt Lyon officiating.
