Artie Clapp

Artie Clapp, 56, of Paducah died at 1:48 p.m. Friday at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.
He was a press operator at Modine Manufacturing and worked at VAW.
He is survived by his wife, Shana Lee Sullivan Clapp; one stepson, Clifton Wayne Tower of Paducah; one half-sister, Peggy J. Clapp of Paducah; one niece; two nephews; five great-nephews; and five great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Clapp Jr. and Virginia Metcalfe Clapp; one brother; and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today at Roth Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bob Kelley officiating.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until the funeral hour today at the funeral home.
A private family burial has been scheduled for a later date.
