August W. Gus Kirn, 97, of LaCenter passed away Saturday at Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Kirn was a salesman with Covington Brothers, a member of St. Thomas More Church and active in the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Grimm of Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee, and Lisa Benton of Kevil; One sister, Gertrude Kirn of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Debra Dowdy, David Grimm, Brian Grimm, and Mark Grimm; 8 Great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gertrude Warneke Kirn; his wife Leola Adams Kirn; one brother Henry Kirn; and one grandchild, Shelly Hardenman.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Thomas More Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
