Barbara Lee (Payne) Knight

Barbara Lee Knight, received her heavenly reward on Thursday, January 30th, 2020 at Baptist Health of Paducah.

Barbara retired at the age of 70 with 32 years of service as a cook in the Paducah Public School system. She enjoyed spending time with her family vacationing, and just being together.  Barbara was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Barbara is survived by two children, one son, Roger (Gina) Knight of Paducah, one daughter, Dana (Josh) Harris of Brookport, IL.; two brothers, Randal (Joyce) Payne of Paducah, and Marty (Alesia) Payne of Paducah; four grandchildren, Crystal Knight of Paducah, Racheal (Nicholas) Tangredi of Chesapeake, VA., and Rana and Jelise Harris of Brookport, IL.; one future great grandchild, Lucienne Tangredi of Chesapeake, VA.; and several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Lee Payne and Dollie Riley Payne; her husband, Don Knight; and two nieces.

Friends may visit the family on Monday, February 3rd, 2020, from 5 to 8pm at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah. Funeral services will be at 12 noon, Tuesday, February 4th, 2020 at Lindsey Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Turner and Rev. Bill Ogden officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Paducah.
