Barbaranelle Lambert

Barbaranelle Lambert, a life-time resident of Paducah, died Tuesday, June 14, at 6:05 AM at her family home following a lengthy illness. Born January 15, 1926, Barbaranelle was the oldest daughter of the late Janie & Wesley Lambert. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy and Draughon’s Business College. Barbaranelle served as registrar at St. Mary’s Academy until its closing in 1965, and then at St. Mary High School for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella Paducah Circle #258, and was a Kentucky Colonel.
Barbaranelle is survived by one sister, Laura Lambert of Paducah, and several cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys C. Lambert and Henrietta M. Lambert, and one brother, Stanley (Bo) Lambert.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation for the wonderful help given by caregiver Mrs. Chris Faulkner, and to Lourdes Hospice & Palliative Care.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 18, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church with the Rev. Bruce McCarty officiating. Burial will be at Mount Kenton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, June 17, at Lindsey Funeral Chapel of Paducah. Prayers will be said at 7:30 pm.
