Bert Louis McDonald, age 69, of Salem, formerly of Paducah passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009 with Dr. Kenneth Brown officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. McDonald was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ruby (Martin) McDonald; three brothers, Ronnie McDonald and Michael McDonald of Salem, Ky. and Donnie McDonald of Paducah, Ky.; four sisters, Nadine Knapp of Hebert Springs, Ark., Betty Scarborough of West Paducah, Mary Craven of Calvert City and Brenda Jimison of Paducah, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Burton Adelbert McDonald and one brother, Bobby McDonald and two nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm, Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Lindsey Funeral Home.
