Berta Dickerson
July 1, 1957 — June 2, 2016
Berta Dickerson (July 1, 1957 to June 2, 2016) beloved wife of Earl, mother of Kari, sister to Bobbi and Donna, friend to all, arrived safely to her eternal home on June 2, 2016.
Berta loved people and loved to share her testimony of God’s redemption through Jesus with newly found friends and on her websites www.afaithfulfather.com and www.BertaDickerson.com. She co-pastored with her husband for thirty years in the United Methodist Church and was a gifted speaker. She served in the U. S. Navy as a Corpsman and was later an LPN and an RN.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at Concord United Methodist Church in Paducah, where Berta and Earl have been pastors for twelve years, on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Sky McCracken and Dr. Bill Culbertson. In lieu of flowers, testify to someone about God’s goodness to you.
