Bettie Sosa
June 4, 1938 — October 2, 2014
Bettie Lou Sosa, 76, of Paducah went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Mrs. Sosa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a Christian and of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jose F. Sosa; four sons, Mike VanCura of Symsonia, KY, Joey G. Sosa of Paducah, KY, Gerald H. Sosa of Lake Charles, LA, and Daryle J. Sosa of Paducah, KY; three daughters, Sarah VanCura of Baoz, KY, Maria D. Baker of Kuttawa, KY, and Tammy Hawk of Marshall Co., KY; three sisters; 25 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vestal and Delia Key Howard; one son, Rick VanCura; two daughters, Cindy Lou VanCura and Anna Maria Sosa; and four brothers.
Graveside services will be Friday, October 3, 2014 at 2:00PM at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
