Biography Betty Lou Massey Ehrig, 75, of Benton passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 5:49am at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Ehrig was a member of the Moose Lodge of Jackson, MI.
She is survived by her husband, John Ehrig Sr. of Benton, KY; one son, John Ehrig Jr. (Sandra) of Vista, CA; three daughters, Kimberly Sewejkis (Lawrence) of Westland, MI, Tamela King (David) of Atlanta, GA, and Pamela Ehrig of Benton, KY; three brothers, Bobby Massey, Kenny Massey, and Gary Massey; two sisters, Doris Frazier and Judith Maupin; nine grandchildren, Wesley, Krayton, Christina, Kara, Kaley, Karina, Krystall, Kendra, and Todd; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Minnie Mading Massey; two brothers, Dale Massey and Sherman Massey; and one sister, Peggy McReynolds.
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 3:00pm at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah with Rev. Topper Council officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
