Betty Kilgore

Betty Kilgore, 78, of Paducah, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Betty retired from Lourdes Hospital after working for a number of years as a housekeeper. She enjoyed going to bingo nights and solving crossword puzzles. Betty’s world revolved around her family. Her grandkids also held a special place in her heart. She was of the Baptist faith.

Betty is survived by four children, Willie Powell, Jimmy Powell, Julie Chapman, and Grayce Cartwright; one sister, Mary Ford; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Betty in death is her husband, Tom Kilgore; her parents, Presley and Edith Ford; four siblings, Don Ford, Jack Ford, Iva Lillie Ford, and Louise Powell; and two grandchildren, Jamie Powell and Raven White.

Betty will be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
