Betty M (Chapman) Powers

Betty M. Powers, 88, of West Paducah, died Monday morning, January 2nd, 2017 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab in Paducah. Betty was a lifelong homemaker for her family.

Betty is survived by two children, Anthony (Candy) Powers of Kevil, KY., and Paula (William) Miller of Frankfort, KY.; one sister, Frances Grigsby of North Palm Beach FL.; five grandchildren, Darren Powers and Darcy Powers of Lexington, KY., Brittany Powers, Kylen Powers, and Zoie Powers, all of West Paducah; and a special friend, Midge Cobb of Monkeys Eyebrow, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, DeWitt Kerness and Margaret Sanford Chapman; her husband, Cullen C. Powers Jr.; three children, Cathy Powers, Mary Lynn Spear, and Clift Powers; and one brother, Sonny Chapman.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Lourdes Hospice program of Paducah.
