Betty Jane (Tallent) Watkins

Betty Jane Watkins, 93, of Paducah died on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 12:55pm at Oakview Nursing and Rehab in Marshall County.

She was born in Roanoke, Virginia and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving is her son, Eugene Carl (Sharon) Watkins Jr. of Benton; two grandchildren, Travis (Heather) Watkins and Sherri (Brent) Henderson; four great-grandchildren, Barrett Watkins, Kate Watkins, Jenna Henderson, and Julia Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Carl Watkins Sr.; her parents, A.R. “AL” Tallent and Beatrice White Tallent; two brothers, Roy (Regina) Tallent and Glenn (Ernestine) Tallent.

Graveside services will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in the chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to New Harmony Southern Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, KY.
