Beverly Rhea Burns Lynch, 53, of Iuka, Ky. died at 5:37 p.m. Dec. 12, 2015 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. She was born May 18, 1962 to Rue Burns and Prudence McKinney Burns.
She is survived by a sister, Amy Burns Williams; a nephew, Carl Short; a brother-in-law, John Williams, all of Mesa, Ariz.; a special friend, Lorraine Heiser Ogelvie, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and many other friends all over the United States.
She was preceded in death by her son, Nevada Lynch; her parents; and her grandparents, Hugh and Carleen Sexton McKinney, and Willie and Claris Burns.
She attended West Kentucky Community and Technical College, Paducah. She had associate's degrees in Office Administration and in Nursing. For the past several years she worked as a traveling Registered Nurse all over the United States. She was also a disability-rights advocate and had served on the Kentucky Commonwealth Council for Developmental Disabilities.
She loved riding all her Harley-Davidson motorcycles and was a Nomad member of Weasels USA.
A gathering celebrating her life will be held in Spring 2016, and details will be announced at a later time.
