Bill J. Martin

Bill J. Martin, 88, of Wingo, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Bill owned and operated Bill’s Tree Service for many years. He loved to fish and loved to find a good deal. Bill was a family man who loved his wife and children and adored his grandkids.

Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Regenia Martin; five children, April Wheeler, Tammy Wynn, Teresa (Steve) Briggs, Mitzi Stiles, and Robert Martin; grandchildren, Lily Wheeler, Abbigail Wheeler, Emelia Wheeler, Ava Wheeler, Jarrett Twinning, Lennon Moffitt, Louie Hulet, Haven Hulet, Layne Wynn, Brittany Martin, Alexander Martin; great-grandchildren, Silas, William, Wesley, and Brooklyn; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Bill in death are two children, Paul Martin and BJ Martin; one grandchild, Sky Hulet; his parents, James Martin and Lucille Brown; and two siblings, Brenda Martin and Patsy O’Connor.

Per his wishes, Bill will be cremated and no services will be held.
