Billy Joe Wilbourn

Billy Joe Wilbourn, 80 of Paducah, KY passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 in Paducah, KY.  He was born in Water Valley, MS, January 30, 1940.

He was a retired pipefitter with VMV Railroad Shops, Paducah, KY.  He was married for 59 years to Wanda Wilbourn.

Surviving are his two children, Billie Phillips (Billy) of Paducah and Tony Wilbourn (Denise) of Paducah; one brother, J.W. Wallace of Paducah; two sisters, Lela Cedarholm (Dean) of Kuttawa, KY and Martha Wilbourn of Ballard County, KY; four grandchildren, Brandi Brooks, Brandon Phillips, Dawn Mitchell, and Kayla Davy all of Paducah; and 6 great-grandchildren, Sydney Cooper, Trace Brooks, Kameron Brooks, Devynn Long, Mila Mitchell, and Trayden Long all of Paducah.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Wilbourn; parents, Albert and Lela Warrene Wilbourn; grandson, Christopher Cooper; great-grandson, Landon Cooper; and two brothers, Jimmy Lee Wilbourn and Douglas Wallace.

A memorial service is planned for a later date.
