Brenda Hankins

Brenda F. Hankins, 70, of Paducah, died Thursday morning, August 6th, 2015 at Southgate Nursing and Rehab of Metropolis, IL.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jim Hankins. She loved to fish, go dancing, going shopping, and go riding on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when she could. Brenda also loved to watch and support her grandson Jared in his bowling and his dream of going professional. Jared called her Nana. She was a volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center in Paducah and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Brenda is survived by her son, Keith Hankins and wife Meda of Paducah; one grandson, Jared Hankins of Paducah; two aunts, Modelle Bancroft of Deland, FL., and Jean Daughtery of Baghdad, FL.; one very special friend of the family, Bobby Proctor of Paducah; and her faithful dog, Rudolph.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Hankins; her parents, Lester Wilson and Armona Miller Wilson; and one brother, Noel “Pug” Johnson.
Brenda requested that no services be held in her honor and she desired that her remains be cremated. Contributions may be made in her honor to the Paducah Lourdes Hospice Program.
