Brenda Kaye (Gilbert) Thompson

Brenda Kaye (Gilbert) Thompson of Paducah Ky passed away on Wednesday March 9 2022, at Mercy Health Hospital in Paducah Ky.

Brenda was born in Detroit Michigan on October 19 1949 to Melvie and Lucille Gilbert.
She was a retired Home Health Care Worker, she was of the Baptist faith

Surviving are three sons, Tim Gilbert, Jason Thompson and Willie Thompson all from Paducah Ky; two stepdaughters, Wendy Byers and Valerie Glidewell both from Hot Springs Arkansas; two sisters, Wanda Purcell of Cadiz Ky and Sherry LaGore of Paducah Ky; one grandson Kyler Thompson; three granddaughters, Hadley, Emmerson and Addison Thompson; and severa nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wendal Thompson; her son, Jemery Thompson; her parents, Melvie and Mary Lucille Gilbert; and three brothers, Rufus Gilbert, Mark Gilbert and Melvie (Gil) Park.

She will be cremated and no service are scheduled at this time.
