Calvin Homer Schmidt

Calvin Schmidt, 62, of Paducah passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Mr. Schmidt was a retired superintendent for the City of Paducah. He was a member of the Paducah Masonic Lodge #127 and of the Baptist faith. In his free time he enjoyed golfing, play guitar, riding his Harley, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Amy Nuckolls of Paducah and Katie (Jeramie) Adams of Paducah; one granddaughter, Destinee Nuckolls of Paducah; and one grandson, Cayden Adams of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Darlene Schmidt; one sister, Wanda Ross; and two brothers, Kenneth Schmidt and John Schmidt. His parents were Calvin and Lucille Schmidt.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 5:00pm-6:00pm at Lindsey Funeral Home. Masonic Rites will take place at 6:00pm.
