Carl Bratton

Carl Arnold Bratton Jr., 75, of Paducah died at 6:38 p.m. Wednesday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Carl was the retired owner of Carls Body Shop C&C Body Shop in Paducah.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Shirley Wishon Bratton; three sons, Mike Lane and wife Andrea, Phillip Lane and wife Debra and Jeff Bratton, all of Paducah; three daughters, Pamela Popko and husband Tom of Spokane, Wash., and Carla Hankins and husband Mike and Caryl Sledd and husband Willie, all of Paducah; 12 grandchildren, Josh, Katie, Kristina and Phillip Lane, Laura and Alex Popko, Jeffery and Brittany Bratton, Michelle and Michael Hankins and William and Christie Sledd; and a great-granddaughter, Isabella Lane. He is also survived by a sister, Linda Lassers of Long Beach, Calif.; his stepmother, Dorothy Bratton of Boswell, Pa.; and a stepbrother, Roy Rucker of Hayfork, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl M. Bratton Sr. and Lucille Glenn Bratton as well as a brother, James Neal.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service time of 3 p.m. Saturday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
