Carl Scott-McKinney

Carl Scott-McKinney, 60, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Scott was a senior chief engineer for Marquette and loved being on the river. He was always happy and laid-back. Scott was spontaneous in life and always went with the flow. He loved to listen to classic rock. While an avid baseball fan who always supported the Red Sox, he was a fanatic for all of the Boston teams. Scott was of the Christian faith.

Scott is survived by his wife, Carrie Scott; two daughters Autumn (Dakota) Scott and Ashley (Lyndsay) Scott; his parents, Ron and Jenny McKinney; two stepdaughters, Jasmine Bryant and Joselyn Bryant; one granddaughter Abigail; and five siblings, Jack (Tammy) Scott, Michael Scott, Gwyn (Ricky) Shepard, Cheryl (Randy) Roth, and John (Heather) McKinney.

Preceding Scott in death is his stepson, Caleb Williams.

A memorial service for Scott will be held Saturday, October 14, at 11:00 am at the Paducah Riverfront on Broadway.
