Carolyn (Morgan) Runge

Carolyn Runge, 84, of Paducah, died Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA.

Carolyn was a retired secretary with McCracken County Courthouse in Paducah. She loved to read, do gardening, and socialize with her friends and especially her family. Carolyn was a member of United Church of Christ on Buckner Ln. in Paducah, and was also a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Frank) Whalen, and Laura ( Tracy) Rogers; six grandchildren, Allen Runge, Angella Alexander, Michael, Adam, and Andrew Hudson, and Chanley Rogers; twelve great grandchildren, Jorden Adams, Laken, Tristen, Zachary, Morgan, and Hayden Alexander, Michael Williams, Tyler Tolbert, Kayla Runge, Garrett, Dylan, and Isabel Hudson; four sisters, Betty Esselstyn, Nancy Freeman, Ellen Ripley, and Donna Carr; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Runge III; her parents, Albia and Faye Morgan; two sons, Allen and Bruce Runge; and one brother, Louis Morgan.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, December 13th, 2016 at the United Church of Christ on Buckner Lane from 1pm until 2pm. Services will start at 2pm with Rev. Claudia Polsgove officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove cemetery in Paducah.
