Catherine Marie Garland

Catherine Marie Garland, 92, born in Paducah, Ky passed away Wednesday July 12, 2023, in Jacksonville Florida.

She is preceded in her death by her husband Reverend James T Garland: Father, Charles Arbert Tibbs: mother, LouEllen (Shaffer) Tibbs: and one brother, Charles Tibbs.

Marie and James lived in Paducah, Carsville, Possum Trot, Columbus, Marion, and Hazel, Kentucky, where Reverend Garland pastored several churches before moving to Jacksonville Florida to be with their daughter Faye Garland Kofler.

Mrs. Garland is survived by one daughter, Faye Garland Kofler (Bruce): two grandsons Tommy Kofler (Crystal) of North Carolina and Chaz Kofler (Kristin) of Florida: Three great-grandsons, Adam, Nate, and Owen Kofler of Florida and great-granddaughter, Reicse Owen North Carolina.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Boaz with the Rev. Steven Boyd officiating.
