Charles William Holland, 86, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky died peacefully at his home with his constant companion Trixie by his side Friday March 17, 2017

Charles, an army veteran of the Korean War, was a member of East Marshall Baptist Church.  He retired from West KY Gas, Paducah, KY and served as Executive Director of Western Kentucky Home Builders Association.  He was an AVID University of Kentucky Wildcat fan, he loved camping and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosemary Walton Holland, of Gilbertsville, two sons; Keith (Cindy) Holland of Cunningham, KY, Pat (Amy) Holland of Marietta, GA.  one daughter, Donna Holland (Lada) of Clarksville, TN. two grandsons; James (Laurie) Holland of Herndon, KY.

and Chad Holland of Clarksville, TN.  one granddaughter Shelby Rose Holland, two great granddaughters, five sisters and one brother.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents John and Bernice Farmer Holland.  Three sons; Richard, Robert, and Phillip Holland, four brothers and one sister.

A celebration of life service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday March 22, 2017 at East Marshall Baptist Church, 6324 Moors Camp Road, Gilbertsville, KY.  with Bro. James Keeling officiating. A meal will be served after the services.
