Charles Malcom Ross, 89, of Paducah went to be with the Lord peacefully at 6:13am on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab.
Born in Caruthersville, MO Charles was employed with Union Carbide for 11 years and then went on to be a Field Representative with the American Heart Association for 22 years. He was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Paducah where he was active Sunday School teacher, deacon, and volunteered as a COC worker. In his past time he was playing golf.
Charles is survived by two sons, David Ross and Dan Ross both of Paducah; one grandson, Phillip Ross of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister-in-law, Nadine Battiolli of Herrin, IL; one brother-in-law, Tom Devardo of Marion, IL; one nephew, Joe Ross Lokofsky of Mayfield, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Devardo Ross. His parents were Truman and Bernice McNeil Ross.
Funeral services will be at 4:00pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Russ Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 2:00pm till service hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
