Smith, Charles Edward,
83, passed away Tuesday,
June 21, 2011 at Parkview
Nursing Home.
Mr. Smith was a retired
barber and member of
32nd St. Church of Christ
in Paducah, as well as a
World War II Marine veteran.
Surviving are one son,
Tim Smith of Paducah;
one daughter, Sharon(Steve) Sparks of Cullman, AL; two
grandchildren, Foster Smith of Murray,
KY, Becky (Ryan) Provines of Blomington,
IN; and three great-grandchildren,
Abigail Provines, Madeline Provines and Dylan
Provines of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John
and Cora Smith; his wife, Jewell Embry Smith;
one grandson, Brian Sparks; and two brothers.
Graveside service is noon Friday at Louisville
Memorial Gardens West.
