Claribel Gibson Throgmorton, 90, of Grahamville passed away at 1:45am on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Mrs. Throgmorton was retired from Hannan Supply as a secretary. She was member of Newton Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star in Grahamville. She was also former president of the Heath High School PTA.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Joe Throgmorton of Grahamville, Jerry (Pam) Throgmorton of Grahamville; four grandchildren, Jenny (Jason) King of Akron, OH, Charlie (Jamie) Throgmorton of Jonesboro, AR, Lauri Jo (Steve) Thompson of West Paducah, Kelli Throgmorton of Paducah; four great-grandchildren, Bradley Throgmorton, Blake Throgmorton, Baylor Throgmorton all of Jonesboro, AR; and Ryne Thompson of West Paducah; and two brothers, Leon Gibson of Paducah; and Guy Norman (Pat) Gibson of Kevil.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Joseph Elwyn Throgmorton. Her parents were Guy Gibson and Ora Bell Holman Gibson.

Funeral service will be at 2:30pm on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Revs. Wayne Carter and Marty Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Friends may call on Friday from 12:00pm to funeral hour at the funeral home.
