Cletus J. Ettensohn, 92, of Paducah died Sunday August 31st at Lourdes Hospital of Paducah.
Mr. Ettensohn was a three bronze star decorated WWII veteran, and a member of various other local organizations.
Mr. Ettensohn was a retired hardware salesman for Boetticher & Kellogg Co. He was a professional instructor of ballroom dancing at the local senior citizens center and the local community college.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Teresa of Paducah; three daughters, Mary Ann Wright of Paducah, Rebecca (Stephen) Luigs of Paducah, and Barbara Ettensohn of Paducah; one brother, David (Jo) Ettensohn of Henderson; four grandchildren, Christopher R. Wright of Portland, Or., Tony (Kami) Luigs of Marietta, Ga., Tammy (Scott) Luigs Lambeth of Signal Mountain, Tn., and Trent Luigs of Paducah; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman J. and Myrtle Dauby Etttensohn; three brothers and two sisters; one son in law, Ron Wright; and one granddaughter, Mary Kay Wright Williams.
Visitation will be Saturday September 6th from 12pm to 2pm at Lindsey Funeral Home, with a wake service and graveside service to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, both officiated by Father John Mark Ettensohn, O.M.I., nephew of Mr. Ettensohn.
