Cory Watkins left our world too soon on August 3, 2024. He dealt with many struggles, but his life was lived richly in service, creativity, and kindness. Known for his love of motorcycles and the most beautiful smile, he was one of the most artistic souls to have walked our Earth. He was a beacon of light for any who knew him, specifically through his work as Security at the Free Spirit Biker Church. He worked at James Marine, and spent his free time with his loving family, working on his bike, beading bracelets, and doing immaculate woodwork on anything from armchairs to gear shifters. He was born in Mayfield, Kentucky on Jan 7th, 1990.
He is survived by his father, Scott Watkins and mother, Rita Watkins; his brothers, Bradley Watkins, and Charlie (Emily) Day. He was loved dearly by aunts, Holly (Keith) Watkins-Wilson, Kim (Glen) Coram, Rebecca (Amanda) Watkins, his uncle’s Dustin (Candace) Watkins and Pat Perdew. Paternal grandparents Joyce and David Douthitt, Maternal grandparents Jack Randall and Vicky Perdew,
He was preceded in death by his brother, Trevyn Wilford; his paternal grandparents, Brad and Connie Watkins; and his maternal grandparents, Rebecca and Warren Hayes.
