Dale Allen Wendel

Dale Allen Wendel, 72, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 18, 2018 in Paducah, KY.

Mr. Wendel was a Kentucky Colonel. He loved sports.  He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinal and Pittsburg Steelers.

He is survived by one daughter, Chrissy Wendel-Shelton and husband, Doug Shelton of Paducah; two sons, Jeff Wendel and fiancé LaQuita Greer of Paducah and Scott Wendel of Evansville, IN; one sister, Kathy Huddleston of Illinois; seven granddaughters, Charlie and Dylan Shelton, Jenny Oliver, Annie Wendel, Ashley Cotton, Vivian Wendel, and Sedra Wendel; two grandsons, Brandon Wendel and Christopher Wendel, several great grandchildren; and several nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Wendel and Mother, Katerina Wendel from Illinois.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Betty Bryan and brother, George Wendel.

Memorial services will be held at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah, KY at 6:00 PM. on Friday, January 26, 2018.

Friends may visit the family from 4:00 pm to service hour at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Wendel’s honor to Paducah Cooperative Ministry, 402 Legion Drive, Paducah, KY 42003.
