Dan Mason Burns

Dan Burns, 79, of Cunningham, formerly of Herrin, IL., passed away on Thursday morning, October 26th, 2023 at Baptist Health of Paducah. Dan was someone who could do many things in life including his love for cooking, rebuilding cars and boats, and many other things he enjoyed. Dan was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam conflict. Dan is survived by one daughter, Lori (Joe) Lange of Cunningham, and one son, Robert Burns of Metropolis, IL.; two sisters, Roseanne Camarato of Herrin, IL., and Garnetta Frost of North Carolina; two brothers, Wayne Burns of Arkansas and Bruce Burns of Illinois; three grandchildren, Savanah Short and Dallas Short of Texas and Landon Owens of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Weldon Burns and Margaret Smith Burns; and one brother, Randy Camarato. No family services will be held at this time in so honoring his wishes.
