Darlene Mae White

Darlene Mae White, 69, of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025 at her home. 

Darlene loved to live a simple quiet life. She enjoyed gardening, crafting things for others to enjoy, She loved to crochet and knit as well, along with being a big Seattle Seahawks fan. When she worked in the hotel industry it was her pleasure to meet all the people that came thru the doors of the establishment. Darlene also loved spending time with her sister very much.

Darlene is survived by two sons, David (Danielle) DeShields of Almo, and Marty DeShields; one sister, Cheri Pepka of Renton, Washington; two grandchildren, Amber DeShields and Timothy Deshields; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond DeShields; her parents, Glenn Simpson and Jean Riegel Simpson.

No services will be held at this time. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
