Dave Steyer

Harmon “Dave” Steyer, 77, of Paducah, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at Baptist Health.

Dave worked for many years at Lowes as a paint pro. While he had a one-of-a-kind jokester sense of humor, he was always serious about his Denver Broncos. Dave loved the outdoors, especially golfing. He had a passion for fishing and competed in numerous tournaments. Dave loved his family and being a Papaw more than anything. He taught his boys everything he could.

Dave is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Steyer; four sons, David Wayne Steyer, Robert (Amy) Blaisdell, Joshuah (Brittney) Blaisdell, and Jonathon “ J.B.” (Amy) Steyer; one sister, Linda Wynns; ten grandchildren, Will, Micah, Cody, Lili, Jake, Alex, John Walker, Valaree, Cameron, and Trey; two loved dogs, Denver Bronco and Dallas My Heart; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Dave in death are his parents, Harmon and Leona Steyer, and a brother-in-law, Don Wynns.

A memorial celebration will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in his honor to the ASPCA (aspca.org) or to St. Jude’s (stjudes.org).
