David Lee Phillips

David Lee Phillips, 70, of Gallatin, TN formerly of Melber, KY passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN.

David was a minister at the Pennington Bend Church of Christ of Nashville, TN. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his four children, Matthew (Lori) Phillips, Diane (Mark) Adams, Rachel Phillips, Gloria (Ryan) Mabry; former wife of 48 years, Priscilla Phillps; two sisters, Susie (Tommy) Blevins and Jackie (Kyle) O’Neal; one brother, Ricky (Mary) Phillips; nine grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and dear friend, Pauletta Frailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Mildred Phillps; and two brothers, Ronnie Phillips and Gary Phillips.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah, KY. Burial will follow at Kansas Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm or on Thursday from 12:00pm to service hour at the funeral home.
