David Rucker

David Oakley Rucker, 57, of Calvert City, went home to be with the Lord for all eternity on Thursday November 6th, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend, and a man after God’s own heart. He was a member of Altona Baptist Church of Calvert City.
He is survived by one son, Torrey Rucker of Titusville, Florida; two daughters, Kayla Rucker of Calvert City and Miranda ( Gene’O) Turney of Salem, Ky.; one sister, Wanda (Stanley) Walker of Grand Rivers; two brothers, James and Charles Rucker of Sevierville, Tn.; four grandchildren, Savannah, Joshua, and Cheyenne Turney and Emma Rucker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oakley and Wanda Romines Rucker; two sisters, Shelia Romines and Lisa Cummings, and one brother, Gary Rucker.
Visitation will be Sunday evening at Lindsey Funeral Home from 5 to 8pm. Funeral services will be Monday evening at 5pm at Lindsey Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Rice and Pastor Danny Starrick officiating. Cremation to follow with his ashes being laid to rest by his grandparents in Clinton, Tn. at a later date.
