Delmar Rottmann
October 6, 1940 — September 16, 2014
Delmar Rottmann, 73, of Metropolis died on Tuesday September 16, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Rottmann retired from Massac County Sheriffs Department and a professional farrier. He was also a member of Waldo Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, PaulAnn Rottmann of Metropolis; one son, Chris Schnuck of Kevil; two daughters, Julie Kappes of Evans, GA, Karen Berry of Destin, FL; one brother, Alvin Rottmann of Metropolis; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Rottmann and Golda Burnham.
Services will be at 11:00am on Friday at Waldo Baptist Church in Metropolis with the Revs. Jack Russell and Trad York officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Kevil.
Friends may call from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday at the church.
