Dennis & Eileen Whitehead

Dennis Whitehead, 73, of Boaz passed away at 8:10am on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Eileen Whitehead, 68, of Boaz passed away at 5:04pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Dennis worked as a medical electronics technician for Vantage Surgical Solutions and enjoyed model trains. Eileen worked in accounting for Purchase Area Development and loved gardening.

They married on October 11, 1975.

Dennis is survived by two sons, Brian Whitehead of Scottsdale, AZ and Devin Whitehead of Greenville, TX; and one sister, Barbara Vaccaro.

Eileen is survived two sons, Brian Whitehead of Scottsdale, AZ and Devin Whitehead of Greenville, TX; and three siblings, Terry (Jim) Dwyer, Kevin Dwyer, and Jim Dwyer.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Clair and Ann Whitehead; and one brother, Gary Whitehead.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jeanne Dwyer.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Lindsey Funeral Home.

Per their wishes they will be laid to rest at Larkspur Conservation in Westmoreland, Tennessee at 12:00pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy.
