Donald Gene Sullivan Sr.

Donald G. Sullivan Sr., 73, of Metropolis died on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Sullivan was a retired railroad electrician, a U.S. Navy Veteran., and a member of Waldo Baptist Church

Surviving is one son, Donald (Joni) Sullivan Jr. of Metropolis; one daughter, Donna (Kendel) Stafford of Metropolis; five sisters, Louise Reed, Genevieve May, Neva Hicks, Alice Shelby, Brenda Langford; four brothers, John Sullivan, Floyd Sullivan, Roger Sullivan, Lindell Sullivan; three grandchildren, Josh (Rachel) Stafford of Metropolis, Chasidy Sullivan and Kalissa Sullivan of Metropolis; and two great-grandchildren, Noah Stafford and Jason Stafford both of Metropolis.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jareda Sullivan; two sisters, Jane Williams and Valda Johnson; and his parents, Coy and Flora Sullivan.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Waldo Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Canaan Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Saturday at the church.
