Donnie Ray Blair

Donnie Ray Blair, 77, of Paducah passed away at 5:25pm on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Stone Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah.

Mr. Blair was a retired truck driver and a member of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church. He loved his family and spending time outdoors.

He is survived by one daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Blair Hancock and husband, Michael of Paducah; one son, Mark Ray Blair and wife, Lisa of Brookport; five sisters, JoAnn Wring of West Paducah, Mary Ann Avery and husband Danny of Ledbetter, Brenda Wright of Paducah, Wanda Myers and husband, Wayne of West Paducah, and Rosie Vaughn and husband, Jimmy of Paducah; one brother, Gary Blair and wife, Carolyn of Paducah; five grandchildren, Madyson Blair of Brookport, Cayden Hancock of Paducah, Abby Blair, Lizzy Blair, and Chase Blair all of Brookport.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Janice Blair; three sons, Donnie Blair, Samuel Blair, and Billy Blair; one brother, James William Blair Jr.; and one sister, Carolyn Sue Barnhart. His parents were James and Hazel Blair.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Harper officiating. Burial will follow at New Liberty Church Cemetery in Kevil.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
