Doris Beavers

Doris Beavers, 63, of Benton died on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Mrs. Beavers formerly worked in the Rehab Department at Parkview Nursing and Rehab and was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband, Thomas Beavers of Benton; one daughter, Teresa Norwood of Metropolis; two sons, James D. Beavers of Benton, Thomas Jason Beavers of Reidland; two sisters, JoAnn Noles of Paducah, Mary Nicholas of Paducah; her mother, Ruby Wallis; two brothers, Danny Wallis of Paducah, David Wallis of Paducah; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilburn Wallis; and one brother.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Henry officiating. Burial will follow at Owens Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00am to funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
