Dorothia Aline (Powell) Morgan
April 3, 1937 — May 6, 2017
Dorothia Powell Morgan, 80, of Paducah, died Saturday, May 6th, 2017 at her daughters home in Paducah. Dorothia was a former co-owner of Morgan’s Shoe Service of Paducah, and a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church of Paducah.
Dorothia is survived by eleven children, Brenda Lanham of Knoxville, TN., Terri Joe Nordstrom of Dallas, GA., Mike Medley of Calvert City, KY., Dwain Medley of Paducah, Terri Hankins of Lilbum, GA., Michelle Toy of Paducah, Carol Morgan of GA., Sam Fargo of Paducah, Charlie Fargo of Dix, IL., Annabelle Frey of Wickliffe, and Cindy Lei Morgan of Land O Lakes, FL.; a numerous number of grandchildren included in five generations of family; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oris and Eunice Powell; three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, May 10th, 2017 from 5 to 8pm at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah. Funeral services will start at 1pm on Thursday, May 11th, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Davison officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Paducah.
