Dorothy Nell Golightly

Mrs. Dorothy Nell Golightly, 89, of Paducah passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her home.

Dorothy was born December 7, 1929 in Golden Pond, Kentucky.  She was a self-employed beautician for many years.

She is survived by three sons, Michael (Julie) Golightly; Wayne (Sherry) Golightly; Jeff (Susan) Golightly and one daughter Sara Golightly, all of Paducah.  She leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, one sister, and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Carl Edward Golightly; one grandson, her father and mother William Garney and Willie Goebel McCloud, two sisters and five brothers.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Lindsey Funeral Home.  Following visitation, graveside services will be conducted at Maplelawn Park Cemetery, with Rev. Brandt  Lyon  officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to McCracken County Humane Society, 4000 Coleman Road, Paducah, KY. 42001.  Or The Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah, 1530 Lone Oak Road, Paducah, KY. 42003
