Dorothy Kaufman

Dorothy Mae Tucker Kaufman, 81 of Paducah died Thursday May 26, 2011 at 6:35 pm at Western Baptist Hospital.

Mrs. Kaufman was a loving mother and grandmother of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are one daughter, Glenda Dean of Paducah; one son, Kenneth Ray Kaufman of Sharpe; two brothers, Clayton Tucker Jr, and Roger Tucker, both of Paducah; five sisters, Barbara Sherman, Sheila Tubbs, and Patricia Powell, all of Paducah, Linda Dickens of Mt. Sterling, KY, and Shirley Baldwin of Michigan; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe A. Kaufman; her parents, Clayton and Georgia Tucker; one son, three brothers and three sisters.

Services will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday at Lindsey Funeral Home, with Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
