Dorothy Jean Starr, 83, of Kevil, Kentucky, passed away 9:54 a.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Starr was a retired operator from USEEC with 22 years of service. Dorothy was an avid outdoors woman. She enjoyed nature, camping, fishing, hunting and archery.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Larry Starr of Kevil, KY; one daughter Monselle (Aubrey) Willett of Paducah; one son, Dennis (Lauren) Wiley of Bourbonnais, IL; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Starr was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Fox and Pauline Babb, three brothers; Yvonne Fox, Alan Fox, and Lloyd Fox and one sister; Darlene Saint John.
A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Starr will be Wednesday, April 12th, 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in LaCenter, KY with Father Stan Puryear officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with family beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12th at St. Mary Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary Catholic Church Food Pantry 624 Broadway, LaCenter, Kentucky 42056.
