Douglas Coleman, 88, of Paducah passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Oakview Nursing and Rehab.
Mr. Coleman was the owner of Southern Calculating Machines. He was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church where he served as a deacon emeritus, and various other positions over the years. He was named a Duke of Paducah. He loved boating, fishing, and visiting with family and friends, caring for his lake house, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving is one son, Ronnie (Kim) Coleman of Paducah; one daughter, Kim (Ken) Watson of Incline Village, NV; six grandchildren, Josh Coleman, Zach Coleman, Jack Coleman, Jake Watson, Nick Watson, and Kenna Watson; eight great-grandchildren, Cameron, MacKenzie, Caden, Jax, Ally, Ava, Daphne, and Nash.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Juanita Coleman; and two infant children, Cheryl and Steven Coleman. His parents were Carlos and Leona Coleman.
Funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Brandt Lyon officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm -8:00pm on Sunday and from 12:00pm to service hour on Monday all at the funeral home.
