Dwight Davis, a.k.a. “Mad Dog”, 67, of Calvert City, KY, passed away into the eternal forever at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO on November 25, 2020. Dwight was born on December 4, 1952. He was born and raised in Hardin County, IL.
Dwight loved to spend the with his family and friends. He loved being outside with his love of eagles, riding motorcycles, playing golf, enjoying the beach, exploring and hiking new trails, and playing pranks on all of his friends and family. His most treasured moments were with his wife, children and grandchildren. Dwight also loved his rescue pup, Lizzy, who was his side kick for 12 years.
Dwight was always there to help anyone in need. He always made sure anyone and everyone was taken care of before himself.
Dwight is survived by his wife, Sharon (Douglas), of 30 years; four boys, twins Jeremiah (Brandy) Davis and Jonathan (Jackie) Davis, Douglas (Tammy) Hubbs, and Daniel (Denise) Hubbs; along with 10 grandchildren, Brantley, Raelyn, Kyler, Kannon, Andrew, Autumn, Adler, Dawson, Morgan, and Kory. Survivors also include his siblings, Betty (John) Lamb; Bob (Candy) Davis, Leon (Reta) Beavers; along with many nephews, nieces, cousins and a large extended family.
Dwight was preceded in passing by his parents, Alfred and Mary Davis; brother, Lendal Cruise; and sister, Reta Beavers.
Upon Dwight’s wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
